Christie Wright, Ph.D., P.M.P.
I’m Dr. Christie Wright—strategic planner, grant writer, coach, public speaker, and business analyst, and the founder of Wright Business Solutions. I help nonprofits and purpose-driven businesses turn vision into clear strategy, secure the right funding, and execute with accountability. My work centers on building internal capacity through training and coaching—equipping boards, executives, and frontline teams with practical tools that create momentum: focused priorities, realistic budgets, simple dashboards, and meeting rhythms that keep everyone aligned.

I have a deep specialty in grant readiness. I assess organizational capacity, strengthen cases for support, and build pipeline systems that move prospects from idea to award. I develop logic models, narratives, and compliant budgets before submission—and design post-award checklists, calendars, and roles so teams deliver on promises with confidence. Whether the barrier is data, process, or staff bandwidth, I help organizations put in place right-sized systems that win funding and sustain funder trust.

My path started as a teen entrepreneur tutoring students, grew into academic consulting, and today spans cross-sector strategy and capacity building. I earned my Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology in May 2025, and I hold a PMP® along with Advanced and Executive Leadership Certificates. This blend of scholarship and practice lets me translate complex problems into actionable plans and measurable results.

As a speaker and facilitator, I deliver keynotes, workshops, and cohort programs that are interactive and tool-rich. Audiences leave with templates, checklists, and next-week action steps—whether we’re aligning a three-year strategy, building a grant-ready infrastructure, or turning raw data into decisions. At my core, I’m here to help leaders and teams work smarter, focus their energy, and prove their impact.

Beyond the work, I’m grounded by my family—my husband and our two children—and by my faith. Serving the Kingdom of God shapes my values and the way I show up for clients and communities. I also champion a balanced, healthy lifestyle with a strategic focus on mental health: setting boundaries, normalizing rest, and modeling sustainable habits. I bring that same lens to my coaching—helping leaders build cultures where well-being and high performance reinforce each other.

Phoenix
noun (in classical mythology) a unique bird that lived for five or six centuries in the Arabian desert, after this time burning itself on a funeral pyre and rising from the ashes with renewed youth to live through another cycle.
or
a person or thing regarded as uniquely remarkable in some respect.
Many people have asked, "Why is your symbol a Phoenix?" A phoenix is a creature that I have identified with my entire life. So many times I have been destroyed to ashes, but I have always regenerated and come back stronger than before. This is the drive that keeps me going, knowing that no matter how bad it gets or how stagnant I feel, there is always an opportunity to re-start and rebirth whatever God has planned for me! You can too!
